The 2022 Lamborghini Aventador is a two-passenger supercar that is available as either a coupe or convertible. The Lamborghini Aventador standard feature list may seem unusually light for a vehicle costing upward of half a million dollars, but the options list is significantly longer. There is a dizzying array of exterior color choices, graphics, stripes, wheels, carbon-fiber embellishments, upholstery options and even seat-belt color selections. Some of the SVJ features are available on the Aventador S as options. Otherwise, heated seats are among the few typical add-ons.
The 2022 Aventador SVJ has a monocoque chassis design that has more aerodynamic design features than the 2022 Aventador S model to reduce air drag during track performance. The geometrical sharp edges make up the core of the design elements of the Aventador SVJ. The forward sloping roofline and low swooping front with xenon headlamps and air-intake vents give the Aventador an aggressive stance. Broad air intakes in the rear end of the passenger doors compliment the side view. The rear end of the car has a slung low design with 3 horizontal running DRL strip LEDs for backlight. Apart from being stunningly beautiful, the 2022 Aventador SVJ sports 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels in front and 21-inch wheels in the rear.
The interiors of the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ are much like the 2020 SVJ. The Nappa premium leather upholstery with diamond etching feels very plush and the bucket seats are fairly comfortable. The center console has the engine start/kill switch with various other control buttons. The three-spoke Alcantara strapped steering wheel has dedicated media control buttons as well. An 8-inch infotainment display on the center console is anti-glare and truly high definition but the UI feels very old school.
The driver's comfort level is satisfactory at best as fatigue sets in during long drives. Also, the visibility of the road ahead and the view behind the rearview mirror are not very impressive. It might pose a challenge for taller people as the roofline will fall in your eye line and you might be slouching for a fair view of the road. The Aventador SVJ's cabin has an appeal of its own with a cockpit that draws inspiration from fighter jets. However, what comes as a disappointment is the infotainment setup. The 2022 Lambo Aventador SVJ gets an LCD Monitor in the front which though useful, looks and feels quite outdated. The abundant use of carbon fiber parts and panels makes the SVJ model lighter and subsequently faster than the Aventador S model. In terms of size, the Aventador SVJ's dimensions make it the longest and widest of the lot, owing to the wider side skirts that it sports.
Lamborghini Aventador is offered in two trim levels: Aventador S and Aventador SVJ. The Aventador S models are powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine (730 horsepower, 509 lb-ft of torque), while SVJ models receive an output boost (759 hp, 531 lb-ft). These engines are paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The Aventador SVJ and the Ferrari 812 Superfast share almost the same hardware configuration under the hood but the Aventador gets the upper hand in top speed figures and torque figures, owing to its 231 pounds lighter weight than the Ferrari. Also, the Aventador SVJ has an AWD drivetrain compared to the 812 Superfast’s RWD drivetrain. However, the Ferrari is more practical with a more spacious interior and cargo space.
The 2022 Aventador SVJ offers excellent safety and driver assistance features. In addition to the 7-airbags, the 2022 Aventador SVJ is equipped with electronic stability control, integrated traction control, car emergency braking, skid steering, search clutch and blind warning. There are also front and rear parking sensors. Some of the safety features offered at the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ includes the anti-lock braking system, parking sensors, central locking, driver airbag, passenger airbag, side airbag, front access, smart access card access, seat belt warning, brake assistant, emergency alarm, anti-theft alarm, electric door locks, side effect lights, front impact lights, day and night rear view mirror, rear view mirror for passengers, engine immobilizer, centering Built-in fuel tank.
